Hi Harry.
This subject has come up before. On my Baba 30, Lorac, I had the same starb=
oard list. I do not have the Quarter birth version of the Baba 30. Mine is t=
he double lazaret version. I am not sure how or if this would come into play=
with your boat. The problem which caused the list on Lorac was the lack of =
a water heater. I believe the Baba 30's came with water heaters. The shelf, =
placed high in the port lazaret, is situated high and to beams end. The wate=
r heater, especially the old style, was heavy and when filled would account =
for approx. 100 lbs. This weight, as it would be situated on the port side, =
was significant in how the boat sat on her lines. Mine was missing this weig=
ht. I placed 100 lbs. on the shelf and Lorac floats on her lines quite well.=
I put in a new water heater and the starboard list is history. If your heat=
er is gone or empty, you may consider this.
Fair winds, blue water.
