Given the current bickering and the clear fact that we have to do
*SOMETHING* now, I've added the full list of baba recipients to my
mailing list. (baba-l@ballreich.net)

You should have received two copies of this email. One from
baba-l@ballreich.net and one from baba@list.sailjazz.com. If you only
received from SailJazz, please send me an email and I'll add you to the
collection of addresses.

Likewise, if you received an email and you DON'T want to be on the baba
mailing list, send me an email and I'll get you off right away.

There are all kinds of interesting ideas being bantered about, but
things are starting to be taken out of context, feelings are being hurt,
and a *LOT* of people are being turned off by the whole thing. We're
supposed to be here to talk about boats and sailing, not sniping at each
other over preferences in internet technologies.

I hope no one is offended by this move on my part. I have no plans to
"own" the Baba list. If we use it forever, that's fine. If it lasts
until something better comes along, that's fine too. If there's an
interest I'll set up a parallel list for technology debate.

Right now Rick is down at the boat trying to figure out why the heat
exchange won't come off the engine and I've got some plumbing issues
coming up. We need a place to bounce ideas off. Let's talk about boats!
