I liked Rich's 'NO WAY' replies

Y'know folks, I'm not married to the whole DIY approach. The developer in me
says, "yeah, no problem." The main advantage of any DIY solution is
flexibility. It seems there's enough collective talent to pull something
like this off and have ALL the features we're looking for while not
requiring a great deal of overhead. Contrary to what many may think, a DIY
solution is no less reliable or useable than a 'canned' solution. The
upside, again, is flexibility and features that you may not be able to find
otherwise (RSS, podcasts, multimedia, etc.)

Now that I've said that (and for me, the DIY issue is dead), information is
king. Personally, I had no issues with Rick E's earlier solution. It was,
without question, a lot of work for him but I gathered that was by choice.
Rick read every message and had a real hands-on approach. The end result was
information and that's what we all need to keep in mind. The easiest way to
get clear, uncluttered info is what I'm after. If Yahoo, Google, or MSN can
provide that then let's do it. Of the three, Yahoo is the one I've used in
the past which seemed the least intrusive. At least on the e-mail side of
things.

Cheers,

Rick Beddoe
