Last year I replaced the engine mounts on Gray Eagle, (Tashiba 40) and
carefully looked into what belongs on a Yanmar engine. I spoke to Larry
Berlin at the Yanmar distributor in NJ, (he's an instructor at the technical
school at Mack Boring). He explained that the mounts on the port side are
different than the mounts on the starboard side due to the rotational torque
difference created when the engine is running and turning the prop shaft. On
the 4JH-TE 55 Hp the correct part number is 150 for the Starboard front and
rear and 200 for the port front and rear. At the time, I was about to
install them with the 200's in the rear both sides as this seemed most
logical. The point I'm trying to make is that the mounts are different port
to starboard not front to rear.
