Hello Rick. I think I was the one who started the string on the Adler Barour units. I installed a CU-100 Adler Barbour unit in Lorac and can't be happier. It keeps drinks, Beer, at 31 degrees. We live in the Galveston Bay area of Texas which has 90-100 degree days. The unit cycles approx. 15 minutes every 30 minutes with a power draw of 3.5 amp hours maximum. This is very low power draw on my house banks. I have 3 100 amp hour AGM's which will go better than 3 days with no worrry of greater than 50% discharge. I installed the system in less than 3 hours. Lorac has approx 2.5" of insulation around the box. There is no evidence of previous modification.
