Boy that sure is a beautiful Baba 30.

I think that I am going to eventually go with davits on my boat. I took a trip this last weekend and I am frustrated with the dinghy banging against the hull and all of the black marks. Hoisting it onto the deck is a pain especially if doing day hops. Twoing the thing increases the risk of the towline fouling the prop (I shorten the line whe slowing or stopping to prevent this) and of course there is a drop in boatspeed from the twoing.

With respect to the lines of the stern, I agree, the Baba is vry beautiful. The nice thin about the Baba is the large flat area on the cockpit combing behind the winches. I think this would be a perfect area to mount a davit base for removable davits. Probably would have to have them custom made but it seems straightforward enough.
