well, I don't think he actually manufactures them. These seemed to be made in China or Taiwan. They look to me like the same ones featured in West Marine's catalog for $225 /ea. They have the same 4-hole connecting plate design.

He does sell a handfull of other items including a 3" version of this cowl. He said he sells about 100 of these cowls a year. Not too shabby!
