This is where a snubber earns its keep a second time over. I put a bit
of nylon line out through one of the bow hawse pipes, make it fast to
the rode (we ride to all chain so a chain hook works well here), and
haul the snubber in a bit. The boat rides slightly off bow to the wind
which, I think, keeps us from swinging quite so much, the chain doesn't
chafe on the bob stay, and all is well. Or so I think... [grin]
