Interestingly enough...
Mr. Emerson,
I have read your exchange of e-mails with Steve and wanted to add my own
comments, since I am responsible for fulfilling orders.
Although the current version of the CAPN is Version 8.2, this is not a
second release of Version 8 to the public. Version 8 is so new in release
that the dealers have not received their information packets about the new
version as of yet. It has only been shipping for a couple of weeks. Since
it is being shipped to everyone who purchased an upgrade, or an original
CAPN after January 1, it will take some time to get it out to everyone to
whom it is owed. We suggested that you call the CAPN (Nautical
Technologies) directly to speed up that process -- but if you do nothing,
your upgrade will be sent to you within the next two weeks.

In the end, I still consider SeaTech's necktie well and truly trod upon, their feet to be filled with self-inflicted gunshot holes, and what comes around will certainly go around when I contact Nautical Technologies, but at least someone was awake and thinking.
