I just installed a new water heater on my Baba 30. I have the original Volvo Md 11 raw water cooled engine. When on shore power, The water heats up very rapidly,approx 25 minutes, but when on engine heat the water is cold after the engine has run for up to 45 min. The plumbing from the manifold goes to a Tee type vented loop. I diverted the manifold discharge to the water heater in port and back to the vented loop from the water heater out port. The engine is running, at low idle and whithout load, from 140 to 150 degrees.
Does anyone have any suggestions.
